The 8th Grade Art students recently completed a three week collaborative art assignment. This collage project involved the careful selection and application of a wide variety of paint colors and the recycling of hundred of colorful magazine pages cut into thin strips. Much like puzzle pieces, each student worked on an individual cardboard shape without knowing what the resulting image would be once the pieces were joined. This beautiful collage construction, mounted on black foam core, measures 3' wide and 2' high.
